W matchup win · T5 top-five scoring week · score shown beneath

The weekly top-five cut line

What the table says

Team Jensen has made the top five seven weeks out of seven. That is the whole story at the top. Jensen lost in Week 7 to Stowell by 1.36 points and still earned a point for the 122.42 score. That is the format's insurance policy, and it's why Jensen leads by two despite being fourth in points for.

Team Carvalho is 6–1 and only third. Carvalho has won six matchups but has made the top five only three times. In Week 7 its 110.32 beat Cee Deez Nuts but finished 8th, so a win earned one point when it could have earned two. Shough Stopper is the opposite case: the league's highest points for (921.82, about 46 more than anyone else), five top-five weeks, and second place.

Week 7 reshuffled the middle. Team Stowell's second straight W+T5 week moved it from 8th to 6th. Team Lackey went from tied for second to fourth after losing and missing the cut by 5.86. Team Whitehead had the league's best score (148.08) and moved from 9th to 7th. Ranks 4 through 7 are separated by two points, and 8th and 9th are only one more behind. Two max weeks would move almost anyone in that group into the top three.

The cut line has ranged from 109 to 131 points. Four of seven weeks were decided by less than three points between fifth and sixth. With two weeks left in the round robin (both points still live), every team is still playing for a weekly maximum of two.

Scoring format note: Weeks 8 and 9 finish the round robin (matchup win plus top five). From Week 10 the matchups stop counting and each weekly top-five finish earns two points. From then on, the head-to-head opponent doesn't matter, only the score.

Waiver Report (Tuesday)

Generated Tuesday, October 27, 2026, about 2:30pm MT · all Week 7 games final (Monday night included) · league data pulled live from the ESPN API · the whole pool is on waivers until claims process Wednesday, October 28, at about 1:00am MT (Tyler Allgeier, recently dropped, clears Thursday)

The short version

  1. J.K. Dobbins lost his job on Sunday, and the player who took it is on the wire. In his first game back from IR, Jonah Coleman played 50% of Denver's snaps, to Dobbins' 21%. Bid $22 on Coleman, drop Dobbins. This is the one real bid this week.
  2. Barkley re-aggravated his hamstring on Philadelphia's first drive Monday night and hurt his back too. His backup, Dameon Pierce, also left with an injury. Week 8 needs another healthy running back. Bid $8 on Emanuel Wilson (Seahawks), drop Keaton Mitchell. Wilson had 24 carries for 100 yards on Sunday.
  3. Kittle's bye: upgrade the tight end. Bid $3 on Hunter Henry (Patriots), drop Bo Nix. Henry has scored 13.4, 14.8 and 14.1 in his last three games. Mark Andrews has scored 4.8, 1.4 and 5.3 and is losing snaps.
  4. That leaves Andrews as the natural drop in Week 9, when Jordyn Tyson comes off IR after New Orleans' bye.

Timing note: this page shows exact bid amounts. If it's shared with the league before claims process (about 1:00am MT Wednesday), anyone can see what it takes to outbid Justin.

Where the roster stands

Week 7 was the best week of the season: 148.08, first in the league, a 31.82-point win over Team Lackey, and the first two-point week since Week 2. Bo Nix scored 26.2 in the Allen bye week, and Zay Flowers (27.7), Jameson Williams (26.1) and KC Concepcion (23.2) all had big games. The concerns are in the backfield.

The bye map

Week 8 (this week): Kittle (San Francisco) and Tyson (New Orleans) are off, along with the Giants and Houston. Week 9: Pittsburgh and Tennessee are off, and nobody on this roster plays for them. Tyson returns. Week 10: Barkley, Odunze and Denver (Dobbins/Nix now, Coleman if won) are off. That's the first week of the 2-points-per-top-five format, so it's worth planning a week ahead.

The FAAB market, updated

Results from the October 21 processing night: His Airdness won David Montgomery for $40 and C.J. Stroud for $15 (dropping Jalen Hurts, now on IR, and Jacoby Brissett). Team Carvalho won T.J. Hockenson for $1 and dropped Emanuel Wilson to do it. Justin made no claims; last week's report advised Stroud $3 and Cooper $16. He added Nix as a free agent that afternoon instead, which worked out (26.2 points). This Sucks took Omar Cooper Jr. as a $0 free agent Wednesday evening. Since then everything has been $0 adds. Carvalho swapped Dameon Pierce for Tyler Allgeier and has since dropped Allgeier too. This Sucks dropped Jaylen Waddle on Sunday.

His Airdness's $40 changes the read on them: they will go well past their usual $15 for a starting RB. But they have only $15 left now. This Sucks has $3. The teams with money are the ones that rarely bid: Cee Deez Nuts and Team Lackey have $100 each and have bid once in seven weeks (CDN, $4).

TeamFAAB leftWaiver orderBidding history and Week 8 need
Cee Deez Nuts$1001One bid all season ($4). Croskey-Merritt on IR, but Cook, Brown and Warren are fine.
Team Lackey$1002Has never placed a claim. Monangai questionable.
Shough Stopper$913Downs $8. Deep at RB (Henry, Love, Pollard, Hubbard).
Team Stowell$984Largest bid ever $6. McCaffrey hurt (SF bye anyway), Etienne and Brooks on IR. The most likely Wilson bidder.
Team Jensen$755Vele $9, Hill $15. Owns RJ Harvey, so Coleman directly threatens its back. The main Coleman threat.
Team Whitehead$826Loses ties to the five teams above, wins ties against the four below.
Team Carnahan$847Bernard $5, Schultz $8, Stroud $3. Aaron Jones questionable. Justin's Week 8 opponent.
This Sucks$38Effectively out. Owns Charbonnet, so would want Wilson but can bid only $3.
His Airdness$159Montgomery $40, Stroud $15. Capped at $15 now.
Team Carvalho$3210Allen $51. Hall and Skattebo hurt, but they dropped Wilson and Pierce themselves, which signals they aren't interested in either.

The moves, in order

1. Add Jonah Coleman (RB, Broncos): bid $22, drop J.K. Dobbins

Conviction: high on the move, medium-high on winning at this price · Expected competition: Team Jensen (owns Harvey, has $75, has paid $15), maybe Stowell or Carnahan at single digits · $1 wins? No

This is the swap the Week 7 snap counts make for us. In Coleman's first game back from an ankle injury that cost him Weeks 3 to 6, he played 50% of snaps, with 9 carries, 6 routes and 2 targets for 69 total yards. RJ Harvey played 25% and Dobbins 21% (6 carries, 23 yards and a touchdown that saved his fantasy day). Dobbins refused interviews afterward. FantasyPros ranks Coleman as the #1 add this week with a $25 value. Remember that Coleman was the league's top add back in Week 3 (This Sucks paid $12, then dropped him three days later when he got hurt).

Coleman's upside is a lead back in a good offense; Dobbins' realistic outcome now is the 6-carry backup who needs a touchdown to matter. Swapping them is the cleanest upgrade available, with the same Week 10 bye.

Why $22: the league's #1 add has gone for $15 to $18 for four weeks running, with a $40 and a $51 outlier. Jensen is the bidder to beat: they own Harvey, they have $75, and they beat Justin on ties. Their largest bid is $15. His Airdness is capped at $15, and Carvalho at $32 hasn't bid on anything since dropping Wilson and Pierce. $22 clears every observed habit with room, and leaves $60 for the last ten weeks. I wouldn't go above $30: if Harvey keeps the passing downs, Coleman is a two-down back.

If he loses: keep Dobbins one more week and see whether Week 7 was the new normal. If Coleman's share holds, Dobbins goes for Tyson in Week 9 instead of Andrews.

2. Add Emanuel Wilson (RB, Seahawks): bid $8, drop Keaton Mitchell

Conviction: medium for Week 8, low for the rest of the season · Expected competition: Team Stowell (need, $6 max so far), This Sucks ($3 cap) · $1 wins? Maybe, but not worth risking

Wilson had 24 carries, 100 yards and a touchdown against Kansas City (18.5 points). Earlier he scored 27.0 in Week 4 when he had the lead role. Zach Charbonnet, coming back from ACL surgery, was inactive in Week 7 despite practicing fully. Mike Macdonald calls it a structured plan, and on Monday he wouldn't commit to Charbonnet playing against Chicago. If Charbonnet sits again, Wilson is a 20-carry back in Week 8. If Charbonnet returns, Wilson becomes a committee back, which is why this is a one-week rental and the bid stays small.

Why Justin needs it: Barkley might not play, and if he does it will be on Sunday night, after every other Justin RB has kicked off. If Barkley is ruled out Sunday evening, the only replacement is a player who hasn't played yet. Wilson's game vs. Chicago kicks off Sunday afternoon, well before Barkley's, so he can't be a late swap for him. What he does is make it cheap to bench Barkley before the afternoon games if Barkley hasn't practiced fully by Friday, without falling back on Dobbins. Carvalho dropped Wilson, so they won't bid. Stowell needs RBs, but their largest bid is $6. $8 goes past that.

If he loses: Rico Dowdle (Pittsburgh, 6 catches and 14.6 points in Week 7, about 44% of snaps) should be free Wednesday morning. But Pittsburgh is off in Week 9, so he's a one-week rental too.

Mitchell is the drop. He is third in the Chargers' backfield and has scored 0.4 and 5.9 in his last two games played. His rest-of-season projection is the lowest on the roster.

3. Add Hunter Henry (TE, Patriots): bid $3, drop Bo Nix

Conviction: medium-high · Expected competition: low; no team has a TE hole · $1 wins? Probably, but $1 loses ties to five teams

Kittle's bye was always going to be covered by Andrews, but Andrews has stopped earning the start. His last three games were 4.8, 1.4 and 5.3 points. He played 57% of snaps in Week 7, after Baltimore got a blocking tight end back, with under 15% targets per route two weeks running. Henry is going the other way: 7 catches on 7 targets for 71 yards on Thursday, and 13.4, 14.8 and 14.1 points over his last three games. NFL.com ranks him #4 on its wire. He plays at Miami in Week 8, a better matchup than Andrews' trip to Buffalo.

After Week 8, Henry is a better TE2 behind Kittle than Andrews, who is still coming back from an Achilles. That makes Andrews the obvious Week 9 drop when Tyson comes off IR.

Nix is the drop: Allen is back, and he hasn't missed a game. A 10-team league with one QB slot always has a streamer on the wire, which is why carrying a backup is a waste of a spot (Justin's stated preference).

If he loses: Chig Okonkwo (Washington; NFL.com #3, absorbs McLaurin's targets) or Mason Taylor (Jets, 25.2 points in Week 7, though that was two touchdowns on 5 catches) should be free Wednesday. Otherwise start Andrews.

Wait and get them free on Wednesday

The last two processing nights cleared just five claims combined, and every other player went for $0 afterward. If you want anyone below, grab them early Wednesday morning.

Drops, justified

How confident to be in all this

The Coleman read is based on one game, but a 50%/21% snap split after a return from IR is about as clear as backfield signals get. The biggest uncertainty is Barkley. If he practices fully by Friday, Wilson is a bench player and $8 was insurance. If he doesn't, Wilson or Coleman starts. The Henry move is a small, low-risk upgrade. The FAAB numbers are based on seven weeks of this league's own bids, but Jensen on Coleman is a real guess: they have the motive and the money, and they've never gone above $15.

Lineup Check (Thursday)

Generated Thursday, October 29, 2026, about 2:30pm MT · before Thursday Night Football (Panthers at Packers, 6:15pm MT) · lineup, projections, schedule and transactions pulled live from the ESPN API · Wednesday and Thursday practice reports · lines as of October 29

The short version

  1. Nothing locks tonight. Justin has no Panthers or Packers on the roster, so there's no Thursday decision.
  2. Start KC Concepcion over Jaylen Waddle in the FLEX. Medium-high conviction · decide before 11:00am MT Sunday Concepcion is healthy and plays at 11am. Waddle missed Wednesday's practice with a re-aggravated chest injury and plays a 2:25pm game with a total of about 41.
  3. Keep Saquon Barkley in the lineup. The fallback doesn't have to be settled early this week. Watch Friday's report and the 4:50pm MT Sunday inactives If he's out, move Rachaad White from FLEX to RB and put Rome Odunze (Monday night) in the FLEX. Barkley, White and Odunze all play after the afternoon games, so this swap can wait until inactives come out.
  4. Everything else is set. Allen at QB, Taylor at RB, Flowers and Jameson Williams at WR, Hunter Henry at TE for Kittle's bye, White in FLEX.

What happened on waivers

Both claims won, and neither got a competing bid that counted. Jonah Coleman cost $9, with Nix dropped. His Airdness ($4) and This Sucks ($1) also bid, but their drops were invalid. Hunter Henry cost $3, with Dobbins dropped. On Wednesday morning Justin added Jaylen Waddle as a free agent and dropped Mark Andrews. Team Stowell picked up Emanuel Wilson for $0 a few hours later. FAAB is now $70.

The FLEX: Concepcion, not Waddle

Start KC Concepcion (at Pittsburgh, 11:00am MT) · bench Jaylen Waddle

Conviction: medium-high · ESPN projection: Waddle 10.7, Concepcion 10.2, Washington 10.3, Odunze 9.3

Waddle came out of Week 7 with an aggravation of the chest injury that has followed him all year. He didn't practice Wednesday, and he's expected to be listed questionable. Sean Payton said the team's availability call "will be based on how practice goes." A CBS item says he took part in Thursday's practice in some form, but we won't know the official participation level until tonight's report. Even if he plays, he's a receiver who's been under 50 yards in most games with Nix, playing hurt, in a Chiefs–Broncos game with a total of 41.5 that's falling (it opened at 43.5). The 10.7 projection assumes a healthy player.

Concepcion is the opposite: off the injury report, 79% of snaps last week, 8 catches on 10 targets for 129 yards, and five or more targets in every game he's started and finished. He leads Cleveland with a 21.7% target share. Pittsburgh is a tough matchup, but his floor is real and Waddle's might be zero.

Timing: Concepcion kicks off at 11am, and Denver will announce Waddle's status about 90 minutes before its 2:25pm kickoff. That's too late to swap Concepcion in. So the decision comes down to Friday's report, and the only result that changes it is Waddle being a full participant with no injury designation. Without that, Concepcion starts.

Why not Malik Washington? He was limited Wednesday with a knee injury, and Miami is an underdog at home against New England. He's the next option behind Concepcion. Why not Odunze? He's held back as the Barkley fallback (see below).

Barkley: the swap can wait until Sunday night this week

Barkley (questionable, hamstring and back) missed Wednesday's walkthrough and wasn't seen at the start of Thursday's practice. That's the wrong direction after he re-aggravated the injury in Monday's loss to Dallas. Philadelphia is a 5.5-point underdog at Washington with a total of 40.5, which implies only about 17–18 points for the Eagles. Even healthy, this is a weak spot for him.

Last week the trap was that every fallback played at 11am. This week it isn't. Barkley and White play in the same Sunday night game, and Odunze plays Monday night. So:

Odunze (9.3) projects higher than Coleman (7.6) or Keaton Mitchell (5.9), so he's the better fill-in. He also doesn't have to be locked in at 2pm the way the Denver and Chargers backs would be. Coleman stays on the bench this week. He took 50% of the snaps in his return, but against the Chiefs in a low-total game, he's still a flex-level option behind the receivers.
