Weekly top-five cut line

What the table says

Week 9 is the last week a matchup win is worth anything. From Week 10 on, head-to-head results stop counting and the weekly top five each get 2 points. That leaves 1 matchup point plus 1 top-five point this week, then 16 points (8 weeks × 2) still on the table. Every team below Team Jensen's 13 can still catch it on raw scoring alone. The team that finishes in the top five most often from here wins, and records no longer matter.

Team Jensen's top-five streak ended at seven. Its 106.10 beat This Sucks but finished 8th, the first week all season without a T5 badge. Jensen still leads by one because of that streak. Shough Stopper scored 187.18, the highest score of the season by 14 points, and now leads the league in points for by 127. That is the profile that pays from Week 10 on. Team Carvalho is 7–1 and still only third: three of its seven wins came with a score outside the top five.

The cut line was decided by 0.36 points again. His Airdness scored 107.60 and missed Team Carnahan's 107.96 by about a third of a point. That makes five of eight weeks decided by less than three points, and three of them (Weeks 2, 6 and 8) by under 0.4. The cut has run 107.96–130.68 all season, with a median of about 115. Once matchups stop counting, the realistic weekly target is roughly 115–120, not "beat your opponent." From Week 10, a FLEX decision that swings five points is worth up to 2 standings points.

The middle is packed. Five teams sit at 7 or 8 points (Lackey, His Airdness, Stowell, Carnahan, Cee Deez Nuts) and Team Whitehead is at 6. His Airdness and Cee Deez Nuts are tied to the hundredth on points for, at 925.08. Positions 4 through 9 can reshuffle completely in one week.

Waiver Report (Tuesday)

Generated Tuesday, November 3, 2026, about 2:30pm MT · all Week 8 games final (Monday night included) · league data pulled live from the ESPN API · the whole pool (250 of 250 checked) is on waivers until claims process Wednesday, November 4, at about 1:00am MT

The short version

  1. Jeremiyah Love is going on IR with a high-ankle sprain, out about 4–5 weeks. Tyler Allgeier is the Cardinals' lead back. He scored 36.1 on Sunday (11 carries for 147 yards and 2 TDs, plus 5 catches). It's the only must-bid player on the wire. Bid $33 on Allgeier, drop Keaton Mitchell. $33 is one dollar more than Team Carvalho's entire budget, and Carvalho has all three of its RB starters listed questionable.
  2. Fix the lineup before Thursday. Kittle is on the bench and Hunter Henry (foot, left Week 8, uncertain for Week 9) is in the TE slot, left over from the Kittle bye. Coleman (20.4 on the bench last week) should start in FLEX.
  3. Add Ryan Flournoy free on Wednesday morning, drop Henry. Kittle is back, and Flournoy (DAL) has scored 12.0, 17.0, 11.0 and 13.1 in his last four games. That gives depth for the four-player Week 10 bye (Barkley, Coleman, Odunze, Waddle).
  4. Zay Flowers plays Thursday night with an undrafted rookie at QB. Lamar Jackson (thumb surgery) is going on IR and Tyler Huntley (toe) is out, so Joe Fagnano starts against Jacksonville. Flowers caught 0 of 5 targets in Week 8 after both QBs got hurt. Hold him, but he is no longer an automatic start. The Thursday check will make the call.

Timing note: this page shows the exact bid amount. If it's shared with the league before claims process (about 1:00am MT Wednesday), Carvalho can't outbid $33 because it only has $32, but Jensen ($75), Shough Stopper ($91), Stowell ($98), Carnahan ($84), Cee Deez Nuts ($100) and Lackey ($100) all could.

Where the roster stands

Week 8: 98.56, 9th, a 9.40-point loss to Team Carnahan. Flowers' zero (both Baltimore QBs got hurt) and Coleman's 20.4 on the bench were the difference. Coleman starting over Waddle would have added 5.5 points, and the top-five cut was 107.96. Through eight weeks: 6 points, 9th, 3–5 with three top-five finishes. Week 9 opponent is His Airdness (8 points, 5th).

Bye-week map from here

Week 10 is the hard one: Barkley, Coleman, Odunze and Waddle all sit, which is 2 of the 3 best RBs. Without a move, the Week 10 lineup would be Taylor and White at RB, Flowers, Williams, Concepcion and Washington at WR, and nobody left for the second FLEX except Mitchell. That is exactly when top-five finishes start paying 2 points each. Allgeier (bye 14) and Flournoy (bye 14) both fill it. Week 11: Concepcion (CLE) and Henry (NE). Week 13: Taylor and Flowers.

The ranked moves

1. Add Tyler Allgeier (RB, ARI) — bid $33 — drop Keaton Mitchell

Conviction: high on the add, medium on the exact price · 46% rostered on ESPN · bye Week 14

The role. Love (high-ankle sprain, his second ankle injury this year) is headed to IR, with Rapoport putting the absence at 4–5 weeks. That covers Weeks 9 through roughly 13. Bam Knight, the only other back with a role, was also hit Sunday and is expected to enter the concussion protocol. Allgeier was a 6–8-point backup with Love healthy, then scored 36.1 once Love left in the Dallas game. Expect 15–18 touches a week. The 147 yards will come down. He's a solid RB2 for a month, which beats Mitchell's 6.5-point projection every week, Week 10 most of all.

Who else bids, and how much. This is the league's consensus #1 add (SI: "THE top Week 9 waiver add"; ClutchPoints #4 behind Coleman, who's already on this roster). The going rate for the consensus #1 RB has been $15–18 (Marks $18, Gordon $17), with outliers when a specific team is desperate (Braelon Allen $51 for Carvalho, Montgomery $40 for His Airdness).

Why $33 and not $20. $20 probably beats everyone except an all-in Carvalho, and Carvalho is the one team with both the need and a habit of overpaying. Losing a tie on $32 is the scenario that hurts. After $33 you have $37 left with eight weeks to go, which is still the 5th-largest budget in the league. If you'd rather keep more FAAB, $26 is the lowest bid I'd make: it beats every team's demonstrated habit except Carvalho going nearly all in. Below $20, expect to lose him.

Why Mitchell is the drop. He's been the drop candidate for four straight reports: third in the Chargers' committee, and 5.3 points in a week the starters were healthy. He has no Week 10 value beyond a bodies-in-slots role, and Allgeier fills that slot better.

2. Fix the lineup now: Kittle to TE, Coleman to FLEX

Conviction: high · no FAAB · do it before Thursday's 6:15pm MT kickoff

ESPN currently shows Henry in the TE slot and Kittle on the bench, left over from the Week 8 bye. Coleman, the lead back in Denver, is on the bench too. Suggested Week 9 lineup: Allen; Taylor, Barkley; Williams plus Flowers or Waddle; Kittle; Coleman and White/Waddle in FLEX (Allgeier too, if the claim wins). The Thursday lineup check will settle Flowers vs. Waddle once Baltimore's Thursday-night outlook is clearer.

3. Add Ryan Flournoy (WR, DAL) free on Wednesday — drop Hunter Henry

Conviction: medium · $0 free-agent add after waivers clear · 22% rostered · bye Week 14

Flournoy is the steadiest receiver on the wire: 12.0, 17.0, 11.0 and 13.1 over the last four weeks, with nobody in this league writing about him. He won't be claimed, so don't bid. Grab him Wednesday morning, because This Sucks and Stowell make their free-agent adds between 7am and noon.

Why Henry goes. He was added for the Kittle bye, and that job is done. He has a foot injury of unknown severity and NE byes in Week 11. If Kittle gets hurt later, the TE wire has Michael Mayer, Mason Taylor and Mike Gesicki available for free. A WR who fills the Week 10 hole is worth more than a backup TE. If Henry practices fully Wednesday and you'd rather keep TE insurance, drop Malik Washington instead. It's close.

4. Hold Flowers. Plan the Tyson activation.

Conviction: medium · no move this week

Dropping Flowers after one zero is selling at the bottom. He's still Baltimore's target leader, and Huntley (toe) could be back within a week or two. But a rookie on a short Thursday week is a low-ceiling spot, and Waddle or White can match his Week 9 projection. When Tyson is activated, Malik Washington (no bye left, WR5 on this roster) is the cleanest drop.

Passing on

Likely to pass waivers unclaimed (free Wednesday morning)

In this league that's nearly everyone. Since mid-October, only the consensus #1 add has drawn real money each week. The rest went for $1–3 or as $0 free-agent adds, and Allgeier is this week's #1. Expect all of these to be $0 free agents by about 1:30am MT Wednesday: Ryan Flournoy, Mike Washington Jr., Emmett Johnson (unless Jensen handcuffs him), Antonio Williams (WSH, 7 targets in Week 8 and McLaurin's role), Adonai Mitchell, Michael Mayer, Mason Taylor, Malik Willis and Devin Singletary. If you want one, grab it early Wednesday rather than spending FAAB.

League FAAB and bidding read

TeamFAAB leftWaiver #Bidding habit / need this week
Cee Deez Nuts$1001One $4 bid all season. RB room is fine (Cook, Brown, Warren).
Team Lackey$1002Has never bid. Took Dowdle and Dobbins as $0 FA adds Oct 31.
Shough Stopper$913Owns Love. Top bid $8. Possible Allgeier handcuff bid.
Team Stowell$984Top bid $6. McCaffrey questionable, Etienne IR.
Team Jensen$755$15 twice, $9 once. Lamar Jackson to IR; Purdy is the backup, so no QB need.
Team Carnahan$846Top bid $8. Deep at RB.
His Airdness$157Paid $40 and $30 before; nearly out of money.
Team Carvalho$328Main Allgeier threat. All three lead RBs questionable; paid $51 for Braelon Allen.
Team Whitehead$709Loses ties to everyone but This Sucks.
This Sucks$210Out of money.

Since the Oct 28 run: zero waiver claims, and 13 $0 free-agent adds (This Sucks 3, Stowell 3, Carvalho 2, Lackey 2, His Airdness, Whitehead and Jensen 1 each). Total league spend: $333 of $1,000.

Lineup Check (Thursday)

Generated Thursday, November 5, 2026, about 2:30pm MT · before Thursday Night Football (Jaguars at Ravens, 6:15pm MT) · lineup, projections, schedule and transactions pulled live from the ESPN API · injury notes through Thursday afternoon · lines from ESPN's scoreboard feed as of November 5

The short version

  1. Bench Zay Flowers before 6:15pm MT tonight. Urgent · medium conviction Baltimore is a 10-point home underdog with an implied total of about 14.75, and an undrafted rookie starts at quarterback. This is the only move that can't wait.
  2. Start George Kittle over Hunter Henry. High conviction Henry is still in the TE slot, didn't practice Wednesday and wasn't seen at practice Thursday. Kittle is on the bench, and San Francisco is implied for about 30.75.
  3. Start Jonah Coleman over Saquon Barkley. High conviction Coleman is on the bench with the best matchup on the roster. Barkley is questionable, and Philadelphia is starting Joe Milton.
  4. Start Rachaad White in the last FLEX spot. Medium conviction · can wait until Sunday White is the choice over Barkley, Odunze and Concepcion, though the margin is small.
  5. No waiver adds arrived. The ESPN log shows no Team Whitehead claim, and Keaton Mitchell and Henry are both still rostered.

FLEXJaylen WaddleJaylen WaddleSun 11:00am11.4

By ESPN's numbers this moves the lineup from 110.0 to 117.1. The real gain should be larger, because those numbers still give Flowers 13.3 and Henry 9.5. His Airdness projects to about 107.9, with Mike Evans at 0.0 in a starting WR slot and St. Brown, Pickens and Michael Wilson all listed questionable. A win and a top-five finish are both still available, and this is the last week the matchup counts. The top-five cut has a median of about 115.

The Thursday decision: Flowers sits

Bench Zay Flowers (vs. Jacksonville, tonight 6:15pm MT) · start Malik Washington (at home vs. Detroit, Sunday)

Conviction: medium · ESPN projection: Flowers 13.3, Washington 9.8 · Implied totals: Baltimore 14.75, Miami 21.75

The 13.3 reflects a season of Lamar Jackson. Jackson is headed to IR, Tyler Huntley is out for the year, and Jacoby Brissett isn't expected to be available until Week 10. That leaves Joe Fagnano making a first career start on a short week. Fagnano went 10 of 21 for 91 yards and an interception in relief at Buffalo, and four of Flowers' five targets in that 0-catch game came from Fagnano. Fagnano was also wearing an ankle brace at Tuesday's practice.

The line is the loudest signal. It has Jacksonville by 10 with a total of 39.5, which leaves Baltimore about 15 points to share with a Derrick Henry run game. Jacksonville has allowed more interceptions than touchdown passes this season. Opinion is split: Yahoo calls Flowers a sit for teams with receiver depth, 4for4 would sit every Raven, SI calls the start nearly impossible, and CBS and PFF would still play Flowers. This roster has the depth, so the Yahoo logic applies.

Washington's case is steadiness in a better game. Washington has 11.1, 12.0, 12.1, 6.5 and 15.0 in the last five games played and wasn't on Wednesday's injury report. Miami is a 7-point underdog at home in a game with a 50.5 total, so it should have to throw. ESPN's Tristan Cockcroft and RotoWire both flagged Washington as a Week 9 play.

What this risks: Flowers is still Baltimore's best receiver, and a trailing team has to throw to someone. A catch-and-run score could beat Washington's line, and that's why the conviction is medium, not high. I'd take the steadier floor here because Baltimore's offense is unlikely to produce the ceiling that Flowers' scoring weeks needed.

A wording trap: a CBS/RotoWire note this week reads as if someone "isn't expected to play" Thursday. That line appears to refer to Brissett, not Flowers. ESPN lists Flowers as active with no injury entry, and Flowers wasn't on Wednesday's report. I couldn't open Baltimore's final report, so the inactive list at about 4:45pm MT is the last check. Either way, the move is the same.

Kittle and Coleman: fix these now

Kittle over Henry. Henry (foot) didn't practice Wednesday and wasn't spotted Thursday, so a zero is a real possibility. Kittle comes off the bye with no injury listing. Deebo Samuel is unlikely to play, Mike Evans is questionable, and Christian McCaffrey missed Wednesday, so the targets should run through Kittle, who had a team-high 10 in the last game. The 49ers are 10-point home favorites with a 51.5 total.

Coleman over Barkley. Coleman played 68% of the snaps last week and took 70% of the backfield opportunities. Carolina has allowed the second-most fantasy points to running backs. Barkley (hamstring/back) missed Wednesday, then returned Thursday but worked on the hamstring after warmups. Barkley played only 22 snaps in Week 8, and the Eagles are 3.5-point home underdogs with an implied 17.5 behind Milton's first NFL start.

The last FLEX: White, narrowly

Start Rachaad White (vs. the Rams, Sunday 11:00am MT) · bench Barkley, Odunze and Concepcion

Conviction: medium · ESPN projection: White 11.8, Concepcion 11.1, Odunze 10.0 · Implied totals: Washington 22, Cleveland 19.75, Chicago 26.75

This isn't a great matchup. The Rams' run defense is good, and 4for4 and SportsGrid both lean against White. The case is volume: with Croskey-Merritt and McNichols on IR, only Austin Ekeler shares the backfield, and White played 28 snaps to Ekeler's 20. White scored 14.0 and 15.7 in the last two games played.

Odunze has the best team total but a volatile downfield role, with 12.7 and 10.9 in the last two games and 7.4 or less in five of eight. Concepcion's quarterback is unsettled: Deshaun Watson was still out of practice Thursday, and Shedeur Sanders may start. Waddle keeps the other FLEX spot after practicing in full Wednesday. NBC rates Waddle a WR3 this week, and Denver is implied for 23.5.

Everyone else

What happened on waivers

Shough Stopper won Tyler Allgeier for $22, dropping Josh Downs, so the advised $33 would have won. This Sucks took Bo Nix for $1. The log shows no Team Whitehead claim and no losing bids. Shough Stopper also picked up Ryan Flournoy for $0 at 3:37am Wednesday, so that Week 10 fill is gone. FAAB stays at $70. Week 10 still costs Barkley, Coleman, Odunze and Waddle, and that hole goes to Tuesday's report. Downs is a free agent now, but Schefter has said the Colts could trade Downs before the Nov. 10 deadline, so I'd wait for that outcome.
